The wide-format manufacturer has become a Prism corporate knowledge partner and will provide a variety of content to the group, as well as holding roundtables and conferences, offering technical advice and conducting market research.
Jerry Davies, managing director at Roland DG, said: "Training is essential if a company is going to get the most from its digital print equipment and should be regarded as an investment rather than a cost."
Roland DG also expects to provide input to an e-learning digital printing course, which is currently being developed by Prism's president, Peter Kiddell.
The course will focus on a range of areas that include the history of digital printing, machine types, printheads, inks, the environment, applications and workflow.
Prism business manager John Keith said: "It's universally accepted that there will be challenging times ahead, so it's absolutely essential that companies develop their people to remain competitive and profitable."
Davies added: "This partnership with Prism is strategically important as it's a unique, specialist forum for debate and will allow Roland DG to share information and garner market intelligence from the association's 1,250 members."
