The ranges passed Ricoh’s rigorous and intensive testing process in Japan and the UK after months of collaborative product development between the two companies.
The Premium Office envelope range can be used with laser and inkjet technologies. It is produced with a specially strengthened window film that enables the envelopes to withstand the heat of both colour and mono digital machines.
The FSC-certified envelopes are brilliant white, 120gsm weight and have a five-year shelf-life. The range includes 18 different window sizes and positions to cater for different requirements across Europe and Scandinavia. Matching paper is also available.
Blake director Tim Browning said: “Blake’s Premium Office envelope range has been designed to work with Ricoh’s pre-set printing functions freeing up valuable time previously spent adjusting the settings before a print run. Ricoh users can be confident that the envelope window film won’t melt as it is guaranteed to withstand the temperature of digital presses.
“Because of our unique compatibility with Ricoh printers, selecting our envelopes can save time and at the touch of a button press operators can be confident of optimising performance.”
Ricoh printing innovation manager Andy Campbell added: “Ricoh has a stringent media qualification process designed to ensure that only the best and most compatible media are endorsed for use.
“In an era where personalisation is essential, using Blake’s Premium Office, Premium Business or Premium Pure range opens up new application and profit opportunities for Ricoh clients.”
