The manufacturer also confirmed that Integrated Graphics UK has become the first company in Europe to invest in the new production printer.
The Vale of Glamorgan-based business will use the new machine to help the company move into the variable data print market.
Wynford Phillips, director at Integrated Graphics, said that personalisation through the C900 "is a growth area for the company that will help generate new work".
He added: "We are impressed with the image quality, media handling of different paper types, registration accuracy and - of course - the constant 90ppm print speed."
The C900 machine, which incorporates the Fiery RIP, can print at speeds up to 90ppm on stocks of up to 300gsm.
Karen Lawrence, professional print solutions marketing manager at Ricoh UK, said: "The fact that 18 printers have recognised its value and signed letters of intent to order - without even knowing a price - is a testament to its design, which is very much focused on the customer's needs."
