Emma Jones originally joined the team in February in a "test" role developed as part of a programme aimed at boosting the firm’s interactive digital content output for magazines and adverts on mobile devices using HTML 5.
Jones’ work will focus on providing solutions for Rhapsody's clients, mainly magazine publishers and some book publishers, that will allow their product to be viewed on any mobile devices without the need for an app.
Rhapsody’s new media director Greg Feltham said: "We’re working on some exciting projects for our clients across a spectrum of digital tablets. Emma’s skills in animation will bring even more creative opportunities to basic print replicas.
"With Emma in place we can offer a bespoke service for each of our customers to deploy their product to mobile devices like iPads or Flash E-zines."
Feltham said the firm would continue to expand and focus on using HTML 5 technology to deploy its customers publications to any mobile device without the need for an app, which he said would enable clients to push their content to as "broad an audience as possible".
Rhapsody was formed in November 2011 following the merger of Wyndeham Pre-Press and sister company Masterpiece.
