The London-headquartered media production company has strengthened its client services team by appointing former Williams Lea director of implementation Dave Bibby to the new position of strategic business director. He joined last month.
He is the latest arrival in a series of changes at the £3.5m, 40-staff company following to appointment of Andy Berg to Rhapsody parent firm Walstead as digital group managing director in January.
Berg said: “We have a lot of plans for growth, acquisitions and exciting times, and I decided I needed a strategic head to take them forward.”
In April, the media production house business parted ways with managing director Tim Moscow and digital commercial director Christian Price and a month earlier it recruited two new senior members of staff as part of a bid to double turnover by 2020 - Lloyd Hayzer joined as account director; Nick Kenyon-Muir is new business development head.
Of Moscow's departure Berg said: “Tim decided to leave the business and there is no replacement as managing director of Rhapsody.
“I'm working for Walstead in a new role and will be taking on some of his day-to-day tasks and overseeing Rhapsody and other parts of the business.”
Having spent 14 years at Williams Lea Tag, Bibby has extensive industry experience and in his new role he will project manage Rhapsody operations including developing standardised processes from initial client assessment to contract preparation and implementation.
Berg added: “This appointment represents the next step in the evolution of Rhapsody, as we build a strong management team and a solid foundation for growth.
