Joergen Vad becomes country manager for the territory, replacing Dave Spencer who has left the company.
Spencer had been with the business since 1992 and took over from long-serving managing director Laurence Roberts two years ago.
PrintWeek understands Spencer is considering other opportunities outside the industry, or early retirement.
Frederik Dehing, Agfa vice president for the EMEA region, praised Spencer’s contribution: "We would like to thank Dave for his dedication and support during the past two decades of service and wish him all the best for his private and professional future."
Vad, who is Danish, has also had a long career at the company, and has been with the business for 28 years working in a range of sales and service roles in its global operation. Most recently he worked in Agfa’s global inkjet team. He takes over immediately.
