RES silent over reprts of sale

RES Distribution and Westcoast have both declined to comment on speculation that Westcoast is poised to buy its fellow Reading-based Hewlett-Packard distributor.

Westcoast specialises in distributing HP consumables, servers and laser printers as well as products from other suppliers.

Its HP status would complement RES, which supplies the HP DesignJet range of wide-format printers in the UK.
