Redlin Print on acquisition trail after securing FSC award

Litho and digital printer Redlin Print has announced that it is seeking out further acquisitions after securing FSC accreditation.

The Essex-based printer, which has already acquired four businesses in the last five years, said it plans to grow the digital side of its company.

After securing FSC certification in response to customer demand, the company said it is also now targeting ISO 14001 accreditation by September 2009.

Managing director Derek Faint said: "We are now able to offer our broad customer base an additional product which in turn allows them to promote their own environmental awareness."

Earlier this year, Redlin Print boosted its green credentials and doubled its plate output following an investment in a Screen PlateRite 6600S thermal platesetter.

Customers of the £5.5m-turnover company include local businesses, SMEs and blue chip companies.
