In two new sales roles, Fiona Coughlan has joined from software firm Macromedia as northern Europe sales director, and Ed Ewing has joined as channel sales manager.
Both report to vice president of sales and professional services for Europe Matthew Wallis (pictured), who joined at the start of the year.
Quark will be at Digital Print World to preview version 7 of QuarkXPress, which is currently in testing with selected users.
"There is an awful lot in the new product and we want to give people a chance to see the new features in advance of the launch," said UK marketing director Gavin Drake.
The firm hopes to release it before the end of the year, but Drake was adamant that Quark would ensure the product was robust before its commercial launch.
In addition, Quark is working on QPS Studio, an entry-level version of the high-end QPS workflow, and Quark Dynamic Document Server, which is the core of XPress and can be integrated into third-party products and workflows.
