The centre, a division of Leicester College, will have the latest version of QuarkXPress installed on all of its computers and the DTP package will be integrated into relevant courses, including the National Diploma in Graphic Design, Print and Media.
"We teach Quark software across our full range of courses at the NPSC and believe that having the opportunity to work even more closely with Quark will benefit our students," said NPSC manager Carolyn Rees.
Quark sales director for northern Europe Ed Ewing added: "The NPSC does a fantastic job in training the design, pre-press, press and multimedia professionals of tomorrow, and in updating and enhancing the skills of today's workforce."
The NPSC will also join the QuarkAlliance Authorised Training Centre programme and will work with Quark to ensure students are kept up-to-date with developments and trends.
