Promail to push Pitney Bowes DPS100 inserter to direct mail industry

Finishing and mailing equipment manufacturers Pitney Bowes and Promail will work together to sell the DPS100 inserter in the UK.

Promail will sell the Pitney machine, specifically targeting the direct-mail market, with which they have been heavily connected with since forming in 1996.

The supplier will also handle servicing and after-care on the 16,000-cycles-per-hour machine.

In particular, Promail will target companies looking for a high-productivity machine.

Sales director UK & Ireland at Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies John Ricketts said: "Promail has a respected presence in the direct marketing field which will allow us to introduce Pitney Bowes technology to a wider range of customers."

Promail supplies a wide range of mailroom machinery solutions, addressing solutions, print finishing and forms handling machinery. The company serves a number of businesses within the direct mail sector including contract packagers and commercial printers as well as legal, government and finance businesses.

Daran Hanson, sales and marketing director for Promail said: "This partnership brings together two companies with a wealth of experience dedicated to delivering the best products and services for customers. The DPS100 is a high productivity machine offered at a competitive price and is an excellent addition to the Promail range."
