Prism claims the launch of the Enterprise product, which it acquired last month as part of US MIS supplier MicroInk, gives it the most comprehensive product range in the industry.
"We are now in the position of providing a one-stop shop. No one else covers the range," said general manager Haydn Rees.
Prism showed Enterprise for the first time at MIS 2001 last week.
Pega Print in Rotherham is the sole UK user of the system, which is aimed at smaller printers with 10-50 staff, and another four sites have signed up. In the US there are 1,500 users across a wide range of firms.
Enterprise gives users the ability to quote for unlimited quantities which the firm claims is unique check the cost of different production processes against run length to determine the most efficient method, and control inventory for stock items.
