Printmountain has secured "substantial" backing from undisclosed technology firms and private investors.
Spokesman Tom Kahrl would not name the backers but said "we have all developed expertise in different areas of e-procurement".
The firm has restructured since its online print buying service ceased in March, and now focuses on print management technology. It gained approval for a CVA last month.
