Printech's new investment will give a boost to the present digital machinery platform consisting of a Vutek 3360, Vutek QS2000 Hybrid and two HP printers - a 5M UV and a 5300.
Printech's managing director, B Prasad said: "We preferred Vutek for its consistency in print, speed and above all its print quality which is at 1,080 dpi, which is simply superb."
He added: "Besides, the online delivery system of QS3200r has reduced our turnover time."
The Vutek QS3200r has been supplied and installed by Arrow Digital, the Ahmedabad-based dealer for EFI India.
Printech has a production capacity of one-lakh sqft a day. It carries out a range of print jobs like on- and in-shop printing, signage, flex, fleet and floor graphics, and specialised interior printing for clients from all over India - retailers Reliance and Aditya Birla and Airtel being the prominent ones.
Printech employs 70 persons at its three facilities.
