The Delhi-based company hopes the press, which was installed by Ahmedabad-based Arrow Digital, will also improve quality.
Roop's QS 3200 is a high-speed roll-to-roll UV printer that can produce speeds of up to 83sqm per hour on substrates up to 5cm thick.
It is also able to print directly on glass, wood, acrylic, ACP tiles and other substrates.
Managing director Vinod Arora said: "This new addition to our set up enhances our present printing capacity to 4645sqm in a day. It will definitely help broaden our offering and speed up our operation.
"The Vutek 3360 which we acquired in 2005 gave us quality service, and the latest acquisition has not only given us the technological edge in large digital technology and specially made finishing in north India, but also offers our customers powerful solutions for single or bulk jobs."
Roop Sign & Graphics deals in UV, solvent and inkjet printing, and manufactures a wide range of sign systems for compact and dynamic outdoor and indoor advertisements.
The 25-staff firm also owns a HP 5500, a Scitex XL 1500 and a Mutoh Osprey industrial solvent printer.
