The Coventry-based firm, spent several months weighing its options and talking to all the major players even taking a trip to Drupa to see the contenders in action before deciding on the Fuji system.

"Fuji was so professional at Drupa and at the meeting here we felt that, together with the support it could offer us, the Luxel was the best all-round," said Printcraft reprographics manager Nigel Walsh.

The firm looked at both thermal and violet systems but the single diode of the V-6 was a real boon. "It makes it a lot more stable than a thermal system using 32 diodes," said Walsh.
