The 11 new staff have been brought in to improve the efficiency of its Hagen OA, Logic and PSI customers, who can now also use the SupportCenter to place and track service requests 24 hours a day.
Chief executive Marc Olin, who expected Printcafes acquisition by Electronics For Imaging to close in October, said he was committed to improving customer service through more staff and innovative services like SupportCenter.
By increasing our R&D staffing by 20% were able to provide our customers with the tools they need to increase their revenues, reduce costs and manufacture more efficiently, he added.
Printcafe will announce a new product range at Graph Expo in Chicago this month.
