Managing director Steve Brundle said the firm had won the deal, through which it will handle all the councils print requirements, after a tender process totalling almost seven months.
We are now expanding on the digital side and will set up a feeder operation in Harrow to handle this and our other accounts in the area, said Brundle.
This would also prove a cost-effective move over a period of time, he said, cutting down on the firms use of couriers to its Northampton site.
Several managers had been recruited for the new operation, which will run 24/7, and Brundle said he was now looking to recruit 16 further staff.
Brundle is also waiting to sign the deal for several new pieces of digital equipment, with three main suppliers in the frame.
The latest deal adds to the companys success earlier this year when it secured the BSkyB print management contract worth in the region of 10m (PrintWeek 14 February), followed by a three-year extension with Ladbrokes worth 5m.
