First up, UK Parliament needs a supplier of printed items.
It stated: “The Print Procurement section is part of the Vote Office. It serves departments and offices across the House of Lords, House of Commons and, on occasions, parliamentary associations. The function is to supply printed items requested by customers for the performance of their parliamentary duties and promotion of public events.
“Printed and promotional items are outsourced to external printers on the framework where Print Services (the in-house digital production unit) cannot produce the requirements due to quantities required, time scales, specialist printing or finishing, such as embossing, foil blocking, die-stamping and thermography.
“The Print Procurement section operates Monday to Friday throughout the year. The volume of business tends to remain consistent throughout the year but peaks towards February and March.”
With a stated value of “£0 to £992,000”, the tender is closing at 12pm on 19 January 2024. It will then start on 1 April 2024 and end on 31 March 2028.
Additional information on how to apply for this contract, and contact details for the buyer, are available on the tender notice.
Meanwhile, Leicestershire County Council is “seeking to enter into a contract arrangement with a suitable organisation” for the print and publication of its Leicestershire Matters magazine, which is to be delivered to all homes in Leicestershire (310,000+ households).
The initial requirement is to print up to three issues per year for two years, but the council said it reserves the right to extend the contract for up to a further three deliveries (one year).
With a value of £120,000, this tender is closing at 12pm on 28 December 2023. It will start on 12 January 2024 and will end on 11 January 2026.
Finally, First Choice Homes Oldham is seeking to appoint a single provider to deliver “a total print management solution”.
It stated: “This is to include: stock management, stock holding, marketing material, printed stationery, mail outs, ad hoc print requests, management information and any other print associated product.”
With a value of £500,000, the contract will close at 12pm on 15 January 2024. It will then start on 1 February 2024 and end on 31 January 2026.
