The former Communisis director joined integrated communications provider Adare SEC in November 2018 as its chief operating officer.
He had spent nearly eight-and-a-half years at Communisis, most recently as director of its group change programme. Prior to that he was head of operations at its transactional business.
When Adare SEC was acquired by omnichannel communications specialist Opus Trust Communications in November 2021, Prestwich became chief commercial officer of the group, and managing director of its Security Print division, Kalamazoo.
He had board level responsibility for all sales and marketing activity, including growth of existing business as well as from new business. He was also responsible for leading all aspects of service delivery across the group’s companies under a unified service strategy. As manager of Kalamazoo, he had full profit and loss responsibility for the Security Print operation.
Opus Trust Communications subsequently rebranded as Adare SEC last summer, taking the name and branding of the business it acquired as it looked to “reimagine customer communications”.
A spokesperson for the business told Printweek that Prestwich will be leaving the industry altogether “to explore an opportunity with a firm in a completely unrelated sector”. He will depart in three months’ time.
The plan for Prestwich’s current role following his departure has not yet been disclosed by Adare SEC.
