PressXchange.com appoints Litviak to push international business

Global used machinery marketplace PressXchange.com is targeting growth in the Americas following the appointment of industry veteran Bill Litviak.

Litviak, who has more than 30 years of experience in the industry – most recently at Manroland USA where he headed up the used machinery division for nine years – joined as sales manager North and Latin America earlier this month.

His key task is to utilise his insight in the international used machinery market to increase PressXchange.com's profile in emerging markets and to spearhead US development.

"Globally, print is going through massive change, but it’s still a strong industry and the international transfer of technology is a key driver of that strength," Litviak said.

"This fits perfectly with PressXchange.com's model of providing a complete marketing solution to buying and selling used machinery, levelling the playing field for dealers across the globe, and I'm excited to be part of that."

Litviak will be based in Chicago, Illinois, and in addition to focusing on US and Latin American growth, he will be working on developing PressXchange.com's footprint in pre-press, digital and packaging equipment.

PressXchange is owned by PrintWeek publisher Haymarket.
