The Vector FL52, which is imaging the company's new Freedom Pro plates live on-stand, features a new fibre laser imaging head and supports a wide range of plate sizes.
Meanwhile the Compass series, which includes the 4-up Compass 4000 and the 8-up Compass 8000, is Presstek's first platesetter with the ability to image third-party thermal plates, in addition to its own Aurora Pro plates.
Presstek's Dimension Excel Series platesetters are also being showcased, including its Dimension 425 4-up thermal device and Dimension 420 with auto loader, which allows users to load up to 30 plates at a time.
Visitors to the company's stand will also be able to see its flagship 52DI digital press in action. Designed as a cost-effective short-run printer for the commercial market, the 52DI is economical in runs as low as 250 and operates at up to 10,000 B3 sheets per hour, with a maximum print area of 510x360mm per sheet.
Presstek launches platesetter pair at TPE
Presstek has today handed UK debuts to both its new Vector FL52 small-format, chemistry-free platesetter and its Compass series platesetters, on its stand at booth 232.
