Precision Colour lands 100pp children's magazine

Precision Colour Printing has secured the print contract for a new 60,000-run monthly magazine called <i>4girlz</i>.

The Shropshire-based litho printer will produce the 100pp title's text pages on its 10-unit MAN Roland Rotoman 32pp press using 70gsm UPM Cote coated stock.

The cover of the magazine, which is aimed at 8-12 year-old girls, has been printed on 150gsm stock using its five-colour Mitsubishi B1 sheetfed press then flood varnished in high gloss UV varnish.

4girlz was also perfect bound in-house at the 240-staff printer.

Precision Colour Printing also produces magazines such as Xbox 360 Gamer and 911 as well as newspapers such as Bupa Today and British Airwaves News.
