The firm said the Westland Digital brand range, which is available with immediate effect, comprises monomeric and polymeric vinyls, overlaminates, banners, roll-up and pop-up medias, banner and pop-up display systems and a matched floor graphic system.
Products including Easy Dot and Window Grip from Neschen and digital self-adhesive vinyl and overlaminating film from Ritrama will also now be available from PPB.
In addition, following a recent business rebrand from Proctor Paper & Board, PPB’s in-house conversion and warehouse facilities now provide customers with the choice of bespoke sheeting for any wide-format media for UV flatbed printers.
Joanne Smeeton and Glenn Crowley, former Paperlinx staff who recently joined PPB as digital sales specialists, will head up the Westland Digital brand.
PPB managing director Richard Proctor said their skills, expertise and knowledge had enabled the business to move swiftly into the wide-format digital market.
“Utilising both Joanne and Glenn’s experiences has given us the confidence and know-how to ensure that we brought in a quality media range that is clear and compatible with the latest digital technology,” said Proctor.
“Understanding the market, technology and quality that customers require is crucial. We have been working with some of the leading manufacturers to create a range of digital media that suits today's diversifying market.”
PPB has a turnover of £25m and employs 75 staff, 20 of whom have been taken on over the past few months.
Proctor's father John Proctor set up Proctor Paper & Board in Leeds 37 years ago. In 1994 the business set up a company called Buchanan Paper & Board in Leicester and in 2010 it acquired London-based A&R Board Sales.
All three are now combined under the PPB brand and the three sites have more than 6,500sqm of warehousing.
