Polestars half-year figures show pre-tax profits of 8.8m (1999 loss: 2.7m) on sales down 6.6% at 247.1m.
Strong second quarter cited, together with "excellent" results from overseas. The groups UK wing is bouncing back from the disruption and disappointment of the millennium period.
