The apprentices form part of the Polestar Apprenticeship Scheme introduced in 2003 in collaboration with the BPIF and Leeds College of Technology. It aims to introduce 100 apprentices to the Polestar Group over the next three years.
The first wave of 16-22 year olds will be based at Polestars Chantry, Petty, Greaves, Colchester and Varnicoat plants. The scheme involves on-the-job training at Polestar and distance learning through Leeds College of Technology.
