The 24-staffed, Harrogate-based company said it has found the process of becoming FSC accredited very stringent.
Andy Hudson, sales and marketing manager, said: "It has been quite easy to adapt to because we have already gone down the green route and also brought in a lean manufacturing base. FSC was the next step."
Platinum Print was required to implement an auditable trial from when the paper is on the premises.
It carried out a number of trials of the process before the assessment date to ensure the procedures were successful. A team then created the relevant procedures required to monitor and audit the paper trail on site.
Managing director David Wyvill said: "More and more of our customers are asking us how we can help them to be more environmentally friendly and this give us yet another way to help them."

Print and direct mail company Platinum Print has become FSC-certified after it received an increased number of environmental requests from customers.
