The awards, which are organised by the BPIF in partnership with Oxford Brookes University, BookMachine, and The Bookseller, are being held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London on Monday 8 November.
According to the BPIF, despite the challenges of the past 18 months the scheme, which is open to printers, binders, designers and publishers, received more than 500 entries across its 18 categories this year.
Anäis Bellemans, BPIF head of marketing said: “We are thankful for the massive support in the industry this year, and amazed by the beautiful entries and craftsmanship that has gone into every book.
“During the pandemic everyone encountered unforeseen difficulties like never before, but overall the books market was extremely resilient – showing its importance to learning and bringing immersive comfort to people when needed most.”
The 18 category winners and this year’s Book of the Year, which will be revealed on the night, have been selected from a shortlist of more than 150 books.
