Pitney Bowes launches suite of marketing services

Pitney Bowes has launched a Marketing Lifecycle Services (MLS) suite designed to help businesses improve the performance of their marketing campaigns.

The MLS suite aims to help companies with multi-channel marketing and communications at each stage of a campaign, from planning to print management and measuring performance.

Pitney Bowes’ clients can take as many or as few of the services as they wish. It claims that its print management element can help businesses to save around 20% after its own research found that European private and public sector organisations are overpaying for their printed documents by at least 16%. Clients who use the print management service will be able to access Pitney Bowes' global network of partners.

Pitney Bowes international marketing director Sally Wright said: "

The MLS Suite is available to both new and existing clients. This is a large part of our growth strategy across Europe. Clients can access the whole range of services or just the part they are interested in.

"We are working with a number of different clients that are interested in doing things in a different way. We are currently save our clients a minimum of 20%. One of our clients is a county council that publishes a quarterly magazine.  We have driven down the cost of their print and also given them advice on design and layout which has helped bring the cost down further. The time it takes to deliver the magazine from start to finish has been reduced from seven to three weeks."

Pitney Bowes launched an additional range of marketing tools in August aimed at giving small businesses the opportunity to offer cross-media services such as QR codes to their customers.
