Pira International has teamed up with IIR Exhibitions to offer a selection of technology tours at Ipex 2002.
The Gold Star Tour will highlight developments in print production processes. It will be aimed at visitors with limited time at the show and will include digital print, DI technology and workflow management.
The exploitation of digital technology within publishing will form the core of the Major Developments for Book and Magazine Publishers tour, while Highlights of Digital Print will showcase the emerging ink-jet market.
Other tours include Latest Developments in CTP and DI Presses, Digital Workflow, New and Effective Advertising Solutions, MIS and E-Commerce, and Commercial Digital Printing and Variable Data.
The tours will last for up to three hours, and will be led by experienced industry consultants whose role will be to put developments in context, said Pira.
