The Sheffield-based company has used a superwide-format Vutek press to produce work for Malton artist Paul Clifford.
The firm and artist joined forces on work for a school in Tonbridge, Kent, and a community art project in Wigan (pictured).
Pinders printed five panels onto a textured surface using its digital press for the Tonbridge School job. The panels are on display in the school’s economics block.
Clifford also produced an external digital mural on specialist materials for John Tiernan House – a youth offender’s centre in Wigan. Pinders printed a 3.5x8m mural on outdoor marine plywood.
Pinders joint managing director David Whiteway said: “When printed, the effects of Paul’s artwork is striking. The two projects highlight the versatility of our print capability as well as our ongoing commitment to promoting art in the region.”
Clifford describes himself as a painter and digital artist whose work explores the boundaries between traditional media and new technology.
