Pinders invests 300k in Vutek and Esko kit

Sheffield-based Pinders has invested 300,000 in new Vutek and Esko-Graphics kit.

The company has bought the equipment to produce promotional and marketing material, including billboards and building wraps.

Pinders has invested in a Vutek super-wide format digital press allowing the firm to produce full-colour work ranging from vinyl banners and display boards to point-of-sale and photographic backdrops. The Esko-Graphics cutting table can cut, perforate or crease materials.

"As well as substantially boosting our high-end digital capacity, we have widened the scope for more creative, specially commissioned work," said Pinders joint managing director David Whiteway.

The kit was funded by Yorkshire Forward and Sheffield First For Investment.

"We were pleased to contribute to Pinders' securing funds for expansion and job creation within the city," added Alan Lyons, investor development manager for Sheffield First for Investment.
