The 20pp A5 magazine's print run of just over 4m will make it the UK's second-biggest magazine by circulation, behind Sky the magazine, which is printed by Prinovis in Germany.
RewAArd will launch in October on 130gsm paper and will be sent to more than 4m AA member households, achieving a potential readership of more than 6m members.
Three issues of the magazine will be published annually, as part of a new 10m campaign that aims to communicate advantages of staying with the motorists' organisation to members.
Sam Day, AA retention manager, said: "This is going to be about member benefits, because a high percentage of members are unaware of some of the services we can offer."
RewAArd will be published by Bristol-based contract publisher Specialist.
ABC figures suggest monthly title Sky the magazine is the UK's biggest, with a circulation of 6.7m.
Asda's monthly customer magazine, printed by Polestar, is the UK's second biggest, with a circulation of 2.6m. Boots Health & Beauty is third, with 1.8m.
Pillans & Waddies, which is part of the Ormolu group, runs 8pp and 16pp web offset presses, as well as B1 sheetfed and digital kit.
