VistaPrint revealed on 14 May that it had filed a complaint against Taylor Corporation subsidiaries 123Print and Drawing Board, for infringement of three patents, all of which relate to “computerized pre-press”.
Meanwhile, Markzware filed a lawsuit against US-based Enfocus and Belgian-based Artwork Systems for infringement of a patent relating to its preflighting software, FlightCheck.
Markzware president Patrick Marchese said: “The preflighting described in US Patent No. 5,963,641
and owned by Markzware, has been used without our consent."
