Pantone launches Essential Euro

Pantone has launched its Essentials Euro kit following a year-long effort to update its colour library.

The guide, which replaces the Ultimate Survival Kit Euro standard, is designed to be more in line with latest print and publishing workflows.

Pantone has also redesigned its four-colour process guide Set Euro. It now features coated and uncoated versions, and can determine how solid colours will print when specified in CMYK .

Europe vice president Helmut Eifert said: "Essentials includes all the tools designers need to evaluate colour choices."

Meanwhile, UK distributors Cherlyn now  supplies  Pantone's new metallic and pastel colour guides.

Cherlyn managing director Lincoln Swann said: "This has been a busy year for Pantone and Cherlyn, as Pantone redefines its product offer in response to demands from colour-conscious customers."
