"Having reviewed the [personalisation software] market we found Pageflex to be head and shoulders above other firms," said ROI director Tim Cox.
One of the first fruits of the venture has been the development of links between Pageflex software and Xralle, ROI's online print procurement software.
"The linking of the two technologies was an obvious course for ROI, whose customers require more open design capabilities within their Xralle sites," said Cox. "The integration opportunities offered by Xralle's control of administration, transactional and reporting push the Pageflex range even further ahead of its competitors."
Cox added that combining Xralle with Pageflex .Edit produced an online ordering tool that went far beyond the capabilities of template-based systems in terms of the customization possible within brand rules.
Pageflex chief executive Anna Chagnon said that the combination of Xralle with her firm's software added "a new perspective" on how it could be used.
