It will use the software to allow its customers to dynamically create their property schedules using a web browser.
The software, supplied by ROI, takes online design beyond simple template-based systems, while still ensuring brand design rules are adhered to. It is said to be like having the power of QuarkXPress or InDesign in a web browser, but with a simpler interface.
Along with .edit, which is the tool to put the interface on the web, GSPC also took Pageflex Studio, which creates the templates and asset management system MediaBank to handle the storage of the photos, maps and floorplans needed for the property schedules (brochures).
The firm already uses a Markzware software package to handle the automatic submission and conversion of photographs for different uses across the printed schedules, the web and a property newspaper.
It plans to roll out the new tools to customers in the summer after a period of testing and training.
ROI has also supplied it with its e-commerce procurement system Xralle, which will be used to manage the ordering and production of catalogues, brochures and business stationery.
GSPC produces property particulars on two Xerox DocuColor 6060 presses and recently installed a range of Morgana finishing equipment, which was the firm's largest-ever Scottish order.
According to GSPC IT manager David Murdoch, the new system will provide its customers with greater control, reduce waste and allow the firm's designers to focus on more complex and interesting work.
