Pictured are the ‘before’ and ‘after’ shots when 14 members of the merchant’s fearless marketing team took part in the aptly-named Suffering Race – a 5km mud run – at Rockingham Castle in Leicestershire.
As well as tackling copious amounts of sticky mud, marketing manager Cassie Booth reports that the race was actually nearer to 10km than five. In such circumstances, the brown stuff truly could have hit the fan.
Undetterred, the Antalis team ploughed on, suitably motivated because they were running in aid of the Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton, which is a cause close to the company’s heart.
“We pushed through the pain, mud and freezing water and supported each other along the treacherous journey, keeping in mind the great cause we were supporting,” says Booth.
The team has raised more than £1,300 so far to support the hospice’s work. Well done all, we trust a well-deserved hot bath followed, to restore the team’s usual level of pink perkiness.
