Overmatter: calendar boys

January. Time to put up a new calendar. Or two, or even perhaps three or four.

Overmatter is of course full of admiration for the creative print and design treatments featured in the huge variety of calendars produced by PrintWeek readers far and wide, which range from the eminently practical to the esoteric.

Resource in Leeds came up with a clever origami idea that has had clients posting pics of their creations on social media.

Systematic Print Management also showcased its creative credentials with a witty take on well-known film posters featuring members of the Caistor firm’s team taking the place of the film stars. Nice work.

And eight of the team at DXG Media in Manchester, including managing director Duarte Goncalves, bared [almost] all for The Christie Charitable Fund’s ‘Calendar Boys’, stripping off and posing by a press for the month of May.

The DXG chaps deserve an extra-special mention as the prior month featured a team from Total Fitness. So the competition when it came to the most buff blokes in the buff, was definitely, erm, stiff.
