Overmatter: Boats and bikes

More news of admirable charitable exploits by the industry’s great and good, on two wheels and by, err, dragon.

IFS technical director Alan Harrison will apparently be in full MAMIL mode when he tackles the “bum-numbing” 284 mile London-to-Paris cycle ride over four days, raising funds for the Royal British Legion. Find out more and donate here bit.ly/AHL2P17.

Meanwhile, a team of six from A1 Security Print in Birmingham will be tackling the Tommy Godwin Challenge, set up in memory of 1948 Olympic cycling medallist Tommy Godwin. The 100km route starts and finishes at the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull, which will be the recipient of the funds raised. Details here bit.ly/A1TGC17.

And the dragon-based action comes courtesy of DPS Digital in Sleaford, which is both taking part in and helping to sponsor the Lincoln Dragon Boat Race on 22 July, raising money for a host of local charities in the process. Contact DPS directly for more info.
