Lewis Hamilton may well have been feeling a little bit blue after his recent results on the F1 race track, so it’s good to see him having a bit of fun – as well as being quite literally painted blue – courtesy of inkjet giant Epson.

Epson, which has a global partnership with the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team, seems to have applied a Formula One-esque level of marketing budget to this promotion for its EcoTank printers – the point being that the printers use refillable ink tanks, rather than those notorious inkjet cartridges that contain a teeny-weeny amount of enormously expensive ink.

Game-for-a-laugh Lewis was sent into a Matrix-esque whirl involving thousands of sheets of paper, before being doused in 400 litres of ink.

The end result looks like something that Jackson Pollock would approve of.
