Orchestra Bristol invests 1m with Oc

Orchestra Bristols spending spree on new equipment has continued with the acquisition of an Oc PS 880 C-Twin system.

The 1m investment follows hot on the heels of Orchestra's purchase of custom-built Pitney Bowes finishing equipment (PrintWeek, 19 August).

The Oc system allows simplex and duplex, multi-resolution printing from 240dpi to 600dpi and MICR capability.

Orchestra said the acquisition would help increase production efficiency and give swifter production of print work on to its APS system. "The recent installation of both the APS and FX 10 Pitney Bowes enclosing machines has increased our need to expand in the digital print area," said Orchestra Group operations director Andrew Bunnett.

Earlier this year, Orchestra linked up with marketing agency Proximity London for its production division Proximity Works (PrintWeek, 6 May).
