Tony Strong, Richard Farmer and Christine Sampson-Hughes have joined the board in three new roles to help grow the Leicester-based print, mail and digital marketing firm.
Farmer was appointed as sales and marketing director in September, having previously worked at Paragon ID in the same role.
He was followed in October by new chief operating officer Strong, who had previously served as group managing director at Communisis, and HR director Sampson-Hughes, who moved from Derby engineering firm Loram.
Chief executive Rob Alonso, himself appointed in April after the departure of Paul Brough, said: “We are embarking on an aggressive growth path, which will see Opus Trust grow substantially over the next five years. This will come through new customer acquisition and through developing the long-term relationships we have with our existing clients.
“All three new members were excited by the opportunity to play an influential role in strategic planning and implementation. They each have the opportunity, along with our existing board members, to drive the growth of Opus Trust for the benefit of our clients, our employees and our shareholders.
“The great news for clients is that we are adding to an already experienced board, so they will continue to receive the high service levels they are used to, and ultimately benefit from the further development of our customer communication solutions.”
Alonso said that his company will make the most of “additional bandwidth” to develop its omni-channel operations, expand its consultative sales and explore strategic partnerships. It will focus on further digital development including an incoming announcement about chatbot technology.
Opus Trust Marketing currently employs 162 people and turned over £26.4m in its financial year ending in March. Next year, it is set to exceed £30m, according to Alonso.
