The Londonderry-based firm, which specialises in managing remote ballots such as telephone, postal and online voting, beat four competitors to win the £380,000 contract.
Birmingham City Council estimates that around 60,000 residents of the city have signed up for postal voting, which caused controversy when it was first introduced in 2004 over fears related to electoral fraud.
