Users of Asura Balance will be able to continue to process data should one server fail, as well as password-protect sensitive configurations.
OneVision has also released new versions of its file checking software targeted at newspaper publishers, which it previewed at Nexpo 2002 (PrintWeek, 14 June).
Asura 5.1 and Solvero 5.1 are both able to output PDF-X/1a:2001 and PDF-X/3 for the first time. They can compress data files in PostScript level 1, so that host-based systems can process checked data without problems. OneVision claimed users would use smaller volumes of data and increase workflow processing rates.
