Offset Colour Print hopes to become more efficient and increase sales after spending 2m on a new 10-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster 102.
"We saw the press as the perfect chance to gear up production," said director Wayne Muddle.
The press will replace existing five- and four-colour B1 presses. Muddle said the Speedmaster would boost the firms capacity and allow it to compete in the long-run end of the market.
Offset Colour Print already has a Heidelberg QM DI 46 and a Digimaster 9110 at its Southampton plant. The company specialises in the fine art sector.
Offset Colour Print was a highly commended finalist at this years PrintWeek Awards in the SME Company category, and was also a finalist in the Fine Art Printer category.
