The Tunbridge Wells-based printer installed an HP Scitex FB700, an HP Latex 260 and an HP Designjet Z6200 in October and November last year, leading to an increase in work from existing clients.
As a result NXP is now in the process of taking on five more staff (across sales, account management and production) - taking its total to around 30 - and is also looking to move into a new unit.
NXP sales manager Nick Faux said: "There's a lot going on at NXP at the moment - our growth plan is on track [and] the current market is very buoyant."
Faux added that the new equipment had enabled NXP to move into outdoor banners, exhibition stands, and wallpaper coverings and that it was able to produce more POS material and work with a wider range of textiles and fabrics.
"Since installation we have increased revenue from existing clients and improved productivity for them," said Faux.
The Latex 260 has enabled NXP's move into the soft signage market, while the FB700 is being used for jobs such as hoardings, POS, exhibition stands and packaging.
Meanwhile, the Designjet Z6200 has replaced an old Z6100 and is being used used for backlit signs, retail displays, posters and pop ups.
