NUR Macroprinters has launched the Salsa Ultima Series of wide-format printers and a new wider format model, the NUR Fresco 3200.
The NUR Fresco 3200, a 3.2m-wide digital press with speeds of up to 80m2 per hour, is able to print on almost any substrate, with a resolution of up to 360dpi.
The first NUR Fresco 3200 is now being installed in Europe, and NUR said it would deliver 10 more machines by the end of the first quarter.
"The market was basically crying out for larger, wider and faster machines," said director of product management Itay Shalit.
The NUR Salsa Ultima Series, one of the first projects jointly developed following the merger of Salsa Digital and NUR Europe, effectively replaces the existing NUR Salsa models with four models; the 1500, 2400, 3200 and 5000.
The new models are all wide-format, 600dpi eight-colour printers.
NURs Media Solutions has also introduced two new inks, the NURBOARD Perm Version 3.1 and NURSALSA Version 2.1, both re-developed and enhanced over the previously released versions of the inks, to improve quality and printed results.
