In his recent interview with PrintWeek, HH Global chief executive Robert Macmillan had hinted that a senior appointment from a rival was on the cards.
Nunn left Williams Lea in June after 14 years at the business process outsourcing giant. He held a number of senior roles there, including managing director of marketing solutions at Williams Lea. At the time of his departure he was chief operating officer, print and procurement, at Tag.
Macmillan said he had been looking for the right person to head up HH’s EMEA business for the past year, and described Nunn as an “exceptional addition” to the group’s executive team.
“His track record speaks for itself. Steve’s focus will be to build on the platform we have created and drive the business forward to meet our ambitious growth agenda. I am truly excited about what we can achieve together,” Macmillan said.
Nunn takes up his new role today (15 December), reporting to Macmillan. He is also joining the group’s board.
HH Global broke through the £100m turnover barrier for the first time in its latest results, on the back of its fast-growing international operations.
The EMEA chief executive role is effectively a new position. Global managing director Mike Perez, who has successfully grown HH’s business in the Americas, had been overseeing the region pending Nunn’s appointment.
The group now has three regional CEOs in place – Perez, Nunn and Stuart Helmore who runs its Asia Pacific business.
