It will run Kodak's Thermal Direct processless plates, supplied by Heidelberg UK, on a Heidelberg Topsetter 74 platesetter.
Partner Norman Wormall said the upgrade began as a reaction to problems its Delta pre-press workflow was having with handling latest software versions.
"We talked with a number of suppliers before deciding to go with Heidelberg and MetaDimension, but then we decided to make our move to CTP and processless plates as well," Wormall said.
The Nottingham-based company is armed with a Speedmaster SM 52-4 four-colour press and a Printmaster QM46-2 and Polar guillotine.
